One of our association clients came to Conference Event Management for help improving a slate of events spread throughout a year, including transitioning to a new 2,000-person convention and tradeshow. In 2016, the tradeshow coordinators wanted to increase attendee numbers and improve relationships between exhibitors and consumers by combining the two states of Iowa and Minnesota to form the one of the largest tradeshows in the upper Midwest.
Conference Event Management worked with board and staff members to transition the event that was the same year–after–year, from a one–state event to a multi–state event. We ensured that all logistics were covered from start to finish, and presented ideas on how to improve and grow the event – this year and in the future. Along with our organization and strategy, we also helped negotiate better savings with contracts that were already in place, as well as for future events. In addition, we helped the client exceed their sponsorship and exhibitor revenue goal which resulted in a true partnership.
